Q. When did you know you wanted to do hair?
A. For as long as I can remember. I recall being little and always cutting all of my barbie’s hair. Ever since then it’s been a dream of mine!
Q. Favourite colour?
A. I’d have to say either baby pink or mint green. I’m a huge fan of pastel colours.
Q. Favourite part of your job?
A. Do I have to pick just one? I really enjoy having the opportunity to meet and spend time with really cool individuals each day, as well as the transformation from the moment they walk in to the end of the appointment. In terms of hair styling, I’d have to say my favourite thing to do would be balayage! I’ve always been really artistic, so being able to literally paint someone’s hair is a lot of fun for me, plus there’s so much diversity and creativity to be had with the technique.
Q. Tell me something I don’t know about you?
A. Unlike the majority of hairstylists who have tried out many different hair colours, I’ve actually only ever been blonde!
Aside from that, other than my passion for hair I also really enjoy and have a passion for interior decorating.
Q. What inspires you?
A. I love making people feel confident about themselves and their hair. I like the phrase “life isn’t perfect but your hair can be.”
Q. What do you do when you aren’t doing hair?
A. I wish I had something more exciting for this, but typically I’m usually just spending time with friends or netflixin’ it up at home! I’m a pretty laid back person so I usually try to spend my days off relaxing.
Q. Coffee or tea?
A. Neither actually! Which is shocking considering I’m really not a morning person. I do love me a good daiquiri though (after 5oclock of course 😉)
Q. What hair trend is making a comeback?
A. Anything besides the mullet!… (So far)
Q. What haircut best descibes your personality?
A. I’d have to go with the undercut! Everyone always tells me I seem so sweet and innocent on a first impression, then once you get to know me my super sassy personality starts to shine through.
